We’ll start with a Free Fitness Evaluation (1:1 Intro Session).
A firm grasp of the fundamentals is essential for the safety and effectiveness of any CrossFit program. To that end, we need to spend more time with new athletes and give them a solid grounding in the fundamentals. We’ll start you off with a free 1-on-1 private personal training intro session, in which we will evaluate your fitness level.
The Free 1:1 Introductory Session is available to those new to CrossFit BWI and is a prerequisite for starting. The intro is a scaled down workout so you know what you are getting into. Many people think they are in good shape or think they are in bad shape, it’s irrelevant to us. What matters is your desire for results and willingness to work. After which we’ll go over the next course of action for you and the associated cost, which means we will hand you the price sheet and answer your questions.
STEP 2: Enter the program that fits your needs.
We’ll position you to succeed.
Once you have gone through your free fitness evaluation, you will move into ONE of the following programs:
- Private Coaching OR
- CrossFit BWI 101 to teach you the fundamental movement patterns you need for CrossFit (and life)
Our 101 classes typically last 4 to 8 weeks (some trainees prefer more time in fundamentals…we’ll work with you to get you where you need to be). How long you spend in our 101 classes depends on the consistency and intensity of your training, your diet, sleep patterns and athletic ability.
Those who are familiar with CrossFit, and are healthy and active, may test out of 101. It’s PASS or FAIL.
